What's more refreshing than a nice fruit popsicle to face the hottest days? Probably nothing! THE icicles they are very popular with adults and children and can be prepared easily, in a matter of minutes. Making them at home is convenient and not only economically: you can choose organic fruit and avoid sugar, in addition to the dyes, preservatives and acidifiers contained in most of the popsicles sold in the supermarket.
Among the most loved fruits of the summer we find cherries. Let's find out how to prepare delicious cherry popsicles variegated with yogurt without added sugar for a nutritious, light and very fresh snack!
Ingredients (for 6 popsicles)
- 150 grams of cherries (preferably organic)
- 40 grams of agave syrup
- 100 ml of water
- 250 grams of plain or vanilla yogurt
First, pit the cherries and blend them using an immersion blender. Melt the agave syrup in a saucepan over medium heat, gradually adding the water and stirring slowly. Let it cool for a few minutes and add the cherry puree, stirring with a spoon until the mixture is creamy and homogeneous. Fill the molds of your popsicles using a teaspoon. You can proceed by inserting the cherry preparation first and then the yogurt you like best (we recommend a white or vanilla one, but fruit is fine too). If you prefer you can create more layers or a marbled effect, with the help of a teaspoon.
To make them even more aesthetically beautiful and more delicious, add some cherries cut in half. Now you just have to put them in the freezer for about half an hour before inserting the wooden sticks. Store them in the freezer again for at least 5 hours. Once this time has elapsed, take them out of the freezer. To extract them more easily from the molds, pass them for a few seconds under the jet of warm water from the tap.
Et voila! Your yogurt variegated cherry popsicles are ready to be enjoyed!
