Vandals against organic: they spray glyphosate in greenhouses, a farmer intoxicated

They sprayed greenhouses with high amounts of glyphosate, disrupting the farm's operation and poisoning a farmer

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Tristan and Oriane Arlaud have been working for over ten years growing organic fruit and vegetables in Provence.
A few weeks ago they reached their plants like every day and found themselves in front of a terrible sight. A dozen of them greenhouses they had been damaged, as were the tomato plants inside.

Not knowing what had happened to the plants, Tristan started cleaning them up and, shortly after, he started feeling sick.

“My husband started cleaning the tomatoes, to save the plants, but without realizing it he came into contact and inhaled something that poisoned him. He ended up in the hospital with vomiting, diarrhea, visual disturbances and a total loss of energy, ”said Oriane Arlaud.

After a series of analyzes it emerged that the plants had been sprayed with a high amount of glyphosate, pesticide whose use is banned by the organic cultivation method.

I just found out my brother ended up in the ER yesterday. 7 days of ITT for intoxication with the product that these criminals spread in his greenhouses. Shame on them !!!

Unfortunately this is not the first time that the farming family have been affected by similar vandalism and according to the family it is targeted attacks to embarrass those who have chosen to cultivate while respecting nature.

The family started a fundraiser to avoid having to close their business and obviously denounced the cowardly gesture. It will not be easy identify the culprits, who face up to five years in prison for "destruction and damage by dangerous means".

Together we have just managed to cover the exceptional costs related to the damage (thanks to all) but the survival of the…
