Its origins are American; in fact, he was born in a Williamsburg café, in Brooklyn NY, and is an alternative and much more colorful version of the Golden Milk

In reality, the idea was born from the managers of a bar who wanted to offer their customers a drink that is beautiful to look at and good to taste, but all completely natural. They called it "The most psychedelic you can get without using drugs." It has nothing to do with high-calorie drinks full of dyes, as you can imagine looking at them. In fact, unicorn milk is a functional and healthy drink, made with ingredients with great benefits for the body.

The "powers" of unicorn milk

Unicorn milk, a drink that brings with it an aura of magic and mystery, is composed of: Spirulina Majik blue, ginger, coconut milk, maca powder, honey, lemon juice.

A concentrate of well-being, therefore, which unites the digestive and anti-inflammatory properties of ginger to the toning and balancing properties of maca and the nourishing, energizing and spirulina antioxidants, the super food with a thousand properties and very versatile both in the kitchen and in the cosmetic field.

The "magical powers" of this super drink? Unicorn milk has toning properties, promotes concentration before work or study, and is excellent to consume before physical activity because it is very energetic, despite being caffeine-free.

Super-milk comes in the form of a smooth, creamy, blue-green smoothie. It is ideal for numerous decorations: stars, colored powders, grains or, for nature lovers, edible edible flowers.

Unicorn milk is a complete food and contains:

  • vitamins,
  • carbohydrates,
  • fundamental amino acids
  • mineral salts.

This is also why it has become a trend, so much so that Starbucks has been convinced to create a Unicorn Frappuccino, limited edition in 2017 and Nespresso to launch unicorn latte capsules.

Today on the market it is also possible to find other ready-made brands in unicorn milk capsules, gluten-free and dyes, but we always recommend that you do it at home as the packaged products are rich in additives and added sugars.
