Two batches of this well-known baby calendula oil recalled - it may be contaminated with germs

Two batches of Weleda Baby Extra Delicate Calendula Oil were found to contain small traces of water that could promote the growth of microorganisms, which is why the recall from the market was ordered.

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Unicoop Tirreno signals the recall from the market of two batches of baby calendula oil from the well-known Weleda brand, one of the most appreciated by parents as it is organic and fragrance-free.

This product, used from the first days of life of newborns, is useful for massages, to protect against irritation in the diaper area but also for children who have particularly sensitive skin that must be constantly hydrated with delicate products.

Unfortunately, however, two batches of Weleda Baby Extra Delicate Calendula Oil of 200 ml were found to contain a small amount of water, which is not a problem in itself but becomes so as microorganisms can develop inside it.

There is therefore a risk of spreading a product contaminated with germs on our children's skin.

I lots not to be used are the following:

    • H1201 deadline 05/2024
    • J0202 deadline 07/2024

If you have this product at home, check the lot immediately and if it matches, immediately bring it back to the store (even if the package has already been opened) for a replacement or refund.
