Reduction, reuse, recycling: these are the 3 R of the new project born in collaboration with the Department of the Environment of Municipality of Sassari and dedicated to city schools. Is called Trerre and was designed to promote the good practice of the collection among young students, offering different educational paths, some of which are chosen by the classes.
The project, promoted by Gesenu (manager of the urban hygiene service in Sassari) and from Comieco Consortium, will involve elementary, middle and high schools in information and awareness raising activities for culture of recycling.
Elementary and medium will be able to choose between two projects: Become an ecological inspector, which proposes the adoption and care of a portion of the city near the school e Book saver, which encourages the creation of markets exchange and the strengthening of the media libraries of the various institutes for give new life to cd, comics, videotapes and books.
The project, on the other hand, mandatory for all schools of this grade consists of an original card collection competition: at the end of the year the institute which, in relation to the number of pupils, will have differentiated the greatest quantity of material will be awarded.
For students of the high school the common project on paper collection is called Let’s make a goal, while those of your choice Make you see e Make your voice heard will lead to the realization of commercials which will be broadcast on city TVs and radios.
After the conference ENER.LOC and the birth of the CicloOfficina, and after finishing in 49th place in the ranking "Urban Ecosystem" compiled by Legambiente, Sassari therefore reconfirms itself as a town attentive to the environment and to the education of the new generations.
