The fault seems to lie with some neighbor (envious?) Who reported the structure to the municipal offices. The Holland South District Council, which received the complaint, ordered the family to dismantle the house tree house 'in toto' or to comply.

"I feel very bad at the thought of having to demolish it. When you spend a lot of time building something, you become very attached to it. The kids saw a tree house earlier in the year and told me they would want one. So I went out and bought some corrugated panels and materials for the roof. I spent a lot of free time on that tree and the kids were over the moon with the result. They love it! When the letter arrived, I was surprised. I did not know that a building permit was needed for a tree house ", explains dad.

Mr. Bosma submitted the application, which will be evaluated by June 27th. The family will then have to wait seven weeks for discover the fate of their tree house.
