    The tampah is used for separate the rice grains from leaves and residues of dirt, as well as to allow the rice itself to dry, once shelled. The circular shape of the tampah fits in harmony with the bamboo structure of the tree house.

    It is a fantastic vantage point from above for the inhabitants of Solo Village, who can admire the surrounding landscape from here. The panorama includes the Fortezza di Vastenburg. It dates back to 1745 and is a symbol of the former Dutch domination.

    The architects who designed the tree house hope that the fortress's new vantage point will lead to a resurgence of curiosity about Indonesian history among citizens and travelers. Bamboo is considered a sustainable building material. In fact, given its rapid growth, it is easily renewable. It is also durable and resistant, also suitable for special constructions such as tree houses.
