Touching beauty, here is the exhibition dedicated to touch where the art of the great Bruno Munari meets the innovative Montessori method.

Apparently yes, because it is the view that allows us to admire it, but second Maria Montessori e Bruno Munari there is another sense that allows you to appreciate it, recognize it, perceive it and that sense is the tatto.
Which is also the leitmotif of the exhibition dedicated to them, "Touching beauty", open from 10 November 2019 to 8 March 2020 at the Vanvitelli Hall of the Mole in Ancona, promoted and organized by the Omero State Tactile Museum and the Municipality of Ancona , in collaboration with the Chiaravalle Montessori Foundation and the Bruno Munari Association.

The exhibition, which tries to understand if it is really possible to recognize beauty through touch, is a journey of discovery in the thought and materials of Montessori on the one hand, and in the ideas and works of Bruno Munari on the other. Two celebrities who have dealt with very different topics and who, however, have asked themselves similar questions on the difficult question.
More than 100 works and editorial works are exhibited by him, a renowned and successful artist and designer who has always been attentive to multisensory and the use of different natural and industrial materials in his art, even for pedagogical purposes. Roberto Arioli inspired by the concept of "tactile tables" created by Munari in the 70s.
The educational model will be discussed in the exhibition and there will be numerous materials on display, especially those related to sensory and hand education.

Not to mention the various in-depth studies dedicated to individual themes, the rooms set up like the one that reproduces a Montessori classroom, and the interactive rooms such as "the tactile forest" where you can experience tactile and multisensory experiences.
There will also be educational workshops for schools and families according to the Bruno Munari method and the Montessori model, workshops and training.

Opening Hours
The exhibition opens on Thursdays and Fridays from 16 to 19 pm, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 to 19, on January 1 from 16 to 19 and will be closed on December 25.
