Pigs from a farm in Oxfordshire, UK, were burned to death in a fire. With no chance to escape, imprisoned in their cages and stalls.
A huge tragedy that comes a few days after the announcement of British farmers: up to 120.000 pigs could be culled as labor shortages in slaughterhouses are causing overcrowding on farms.
In practice, it is no longer known where to put the "extra" pigs, so they will be slaughtered en masse.
And now yet another bad news for one of the most abused animals in the world.
We cannot be silent in the face of all this suffering, in the face of individuals forced to die in agony of burns for who knows how many hours. We don't know anything else about them, not even how many there were.
