This library is full of adorable abandoned kittens. And customers can adopt them

At Otis & Clementine's Books & Coffee, Nova Scotia, Canada, there are many kittens looking for a family on the shelves. Everyone roams freely among the books and everyone can be adopted.

One stretches sleepily on an armchair, another almost smiles between a pile of books and a caress, yet another remains alert on a shelf: overseas there is a magical place, definitely sui generis, which could be the dream come true of those who loves reading, coffee and kittens at the same time.

That's right: here, at Otis & Clementine's Books & Coffee, in Nova Scotia, Canada, there are many kittens looking for a family on the shelves. Everyone roams freely among the books and everyone can be adopted.

In fact, in this library cafeteria, it is possible to read a book and enjoy a coffee surrounded by adorable kittens taking a nap between the volumes, playing with what they find on the floor or climbing on the shelves. And the best part is, if you fall in love with one of them, it is possible to adopt it and take it home, obviously after the necessary checks.

All of the feline sweets are provided by volunteers from South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia, who save them from difficult situations and bring them to this bookstore in hopes that someone will adopt them.

Owner Ellen Helmke came up with this adoption program last year after realizing she has a lot of unused space in the venue. So, she started hosting the kittens:

"All puppies come and go quite quickly as they are adopted," he explains. Some people come here specifically to see the cats, others wander around looking for books and find there are kittens ”.
