We are in Pennsylvania and she is Sandy, a beautiful one golden retriever two years. Little more than a puppy, she got lost near a dog park in late November last year while she was with her owner, Kaitlyn Kolinsky.
As reported by Kaitlyn herself, Sandy was there playing when she was disturbed by an annoying din from a nearby skate park.
Terrified, she ran away in a panic and disappeared in a flash. Her family searched for her relentlessly for days, hung flyers, and contacted missing animal organizations.
But these days, the great news. Late last month, Sandy was finally found by a local man, Brian Neipert, who had seen the missing dog posters and heard a dog barking near her home. Neipert told local reporters that he found Sandy stuck under some trees, entangled on her own leash (but apparently she was "trapped" there briefly) and evidently lost weight.
