To try to calm this frightened and stressed Pitbull, volunteers at a shelter thought of giving him a colorful toy tent that the dog seems to have enjoyed a lot. Hence the idea of collecting tents used to relieve the stress of all the dogs in the center
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him
In Michigan at the I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven, volunteers take care of many abandoned dogs for life, looking for a family for them and taking care of their rehabilitation. Due to their past, many of the dogs arrive at the center traumatized, stressed and with little faith in the human race, but with a lot of work, patience and original ideas, it is almost always possible to bring out the true character of the animals hosted in the shelter.
One of these is Starsky, a wonderful and adorable Pitbull who, however, in the last period appeared particularly stressed and afraid. So volunteer Megan Synk thought well of give Starsky a space of his own where the dog could hole up and feel safe and so he opted for a toy tent in the shape of a unicorn in which he placed a comfortable blanket and some toys.
The Pitbull particularly enjoyed this colorful gift and, after spending some time inside it, nibbled the entire tent, but Megan didn't give up and bought Starsky another one, this time with a fairytale look. Not even the time to place it in its new "castle" that the Pitbull has stretched out inside and has found peace and serenity.

Observing Strasky's change, the shelter has therefore decided to give other dogs their own tent as well, launching an appeal on social media called "We want your tents - we want your / your tents" asking their readers toy tents to donate to the animals of the shelter (both new and used), contributing to the initiative.
We are collecting new and used kid tents for ALL our animals!! ?Drop off your kids’ tents they don’t play in anymore…
