“Empatia” is a caravan covered with paw print marks, just like the jeep that pulls it, both owned by the entrepreneur Murat Ilgar. Four months ago, Murat left his hometown of Kocaeli in north-western Turkey to provide food and care to stray animals and at the same time raise awareness of stray animals.
Along the way, Ilgar contacts local philanthropists, collecting their donations in the form of pet food. In just a few weeks Empatia traveled across several sites in Turkey (including Ağrı, Iğdır and Erzurum, Artvin, Rize and Trabzon), delivering food to homeless dogs and cats.
