This South Korean fashion house has come up with a very special way to make jeans: cut and sew them. The resulting effect is precisely that of an optical illusion.
They are the designers of the clothing brand Leje, who have definitely made headlines on social media after unveiling the two new decidedly extravagant jeans models.
Called “Slash Jeans”, the most recent items of clothing from Leje's 2021 collection, they make the legs look as if they had been cut by a samurai or a ninja. At least this is the effect they give in the photos published on the company's Instagram page, it remains to be seen if it is the same once worn ...
How did they create this illusion? Well, it looks like they actually cut the jeans and then stitched the pieces together unevenly:
