Arturas Tamasauskas is a Lithuanian artist who creates sculptures in the shape of animals and not only in perfect steampunk style with waste materials otherwise destined for landfill.
Although his favorite animals are birds, Tamasauskas also likes to represent other types of animals such as penguins, walruses and beautiful chameleons. In practice, the artist collects disused materials or damaged and reinvents them.
Metal objects and pieces that are reassembled into mechanized sculptures. Where there is stuff to throw away, the artist sees only and only artistic forms.
“I have tried many kinds of art, but the strangest inventions were born from the steampunk style. It is wonderful to give a new life to an object that has been thrown away. Every time I create something it is as if I have given that object a different existence, ”says Tamasauskas.
His works are known all over the world from Lithuania to the United States and Australia, what do you think?
