Orr Park Tree - Alabama
In 'Orr Park Tree, in Alabama, we find over thirty trees carved by local artist Tim Tingle. The trunks belonged to those trees that were felled during a storm in 1983. These carved trees are now called Tinglewood.
Hurricane Katrina Tree – Mississippi
In Mississippi, along highway 90, we find the carved trunks of trees that had been cut down by theKatrina. They are one of the major attractions of the Biloxi resort. There are about 50 sculptures, one more beautiful than the other.
