Here is the project carried out by the Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc, which in the last two years has traveled to over forty countries around the world, immortalizing hundreds of people in profoundly different contexts.
The photographic project, financed through a successful crowdfunding campaign, has a really suggestive name, "The atlas of beauty", and aims to show beauty in its many forms, capturing what seems to be its peculiarity: transcending factors such as culture, race, religion and traditions, feeding on diversity.
Over the past two years I have traveled all over the world and photographed hundreds of women in different environments. " - said Noroc - “My goal is to show that beauty is in our differences, not in fashion, money or race.
Through my work I want to capture that feeling of warmth and serenity that is inherent in all women and that balances all the negativity we see in the media. I think people should be more aware of the existence of different cultures and beauty can teach us to be more tolerant.
