On August 16 of that year, a family was visiting the Brookfield Zoo, a suburb of Chicago and never imagined what would happen during the day.
We are talking about an event that took place for a long time, but which still continues to make us reflect and discuss. This family takes a tour of the zoo, but in a moment of distraction, they lose sight of the three-year-old boy. They are moments of panic. Unfortunately the little one, after climbing the fence, falls into the gorilla cage, hits his head and faints. A flight of more than five meters, although fortunately he is alive.
The parents are desperate, the zookeepers are wondering what to do. The boy is surrounded by seven gorillas and the worst is feared. At some point, something amazing happens.
Binti-Jua, a female gorilla, begins to approach the baby. Panic ensues, her parents think she is taking place a tragedy. But behold, the gorilla takes the baby between its paws and begins to rock it. She reads him the wound and protects him from the rest of the specimens. She acts as a shield with her body, she takes care of the child waiting for help to arrive.

And when the guardians arrive, he hands it over gently. An incredible and exciting scene that has remained in the hearts of many, which once again proves how extraordinary animals are.
