Arrived at the age of seven years, the fur of this beautiful kitty has started to transform, changing color.
In the beginning, only a few white hairs appeared among the many black hairs, a phenomenon quite common in many cats and which often occurs over time.
The white tufts, however, grew more and more and quite quickly, until the coat of Scrappy has taken on a "marbled" effect really special.
A transformation extraordinary that does not happen in all cats and that is not linked to aging.

Indeed, it appears that Scrappy suffered from vitiligo, a very rare condition in cats, which causes changes in the production of melanin and consequently changes in the color of the hair.

La disease it did not affect in any way the life and health of the cat, who lived happily, loved and pampered for over 18 years.
In fact, Scrappy died of old age about five years ago: his human friends have never forgotten this extraordinary cat and, even today, they publish his great photos online, always very popular.
