It has been waiting for its owner in the same place for more than a year, which, unfortunately, will never come back. She was immediately baptized the Siberian Hachiko, this brown-colored dachshund, who waits in vain in a Siberian hospital for her human father, who died a year ago.

Its story is very similar to that of the most famous Akita in the world, who went to the train station every night for 10 years hoping for his owner to return from the 16.00pm train. he didn't know he would never go out those doors again.

And just like the Japanese dog, too Masha became known and much loved in Siberia, with patients and operators of the Novosibirsk Hospital who have decided to offer her a warm bed and good baby food. Aware of her sadness, everyone hopes that an animal lover will step forward to adopt the funny dachshund and give her a new home.

Doctor Vladimir Bespalov says: “'There is nothing that medicine can do in this case, we are still hoping that Masha will be able to find another owner. One day, and we hope it will come soon, our Masha will trust someone ”.

In the meantime, she continues to wait, every day, in the hospital, probably because she believes her human is still there, or perhaps because she has nowhere else to go. What is certain is that with her eternal fidelity, Masha enters the heart of anyone who knows her story.
