The sad story of a polar bear trapped in a Chinese shopping center. The petition to free him.

A magnificent arctic animal trapped in the "saddest zoo in the world", as it has been called, which is in turn inside a shopping center in the Guangzhou region, together, hear ye, a beluga, a walrus and a wolf. All to attract a few more customers by giving them the "luxury" of a selfie.
That bear was filmed (video below) practically slumped on its side in the small enclosure of the magnificent Grandview Aquarium, so sad and literally out of place as to draw the attention of the Animal Asia association which launched a petition (here) that has so far collected more than 170 thousand signatures.

“Grandview has let us know that they will work to improve animal welfare. But it seems that the leaders don't even realize that animals cannot be kept or survive in this way, ”says Dave Neale, head of the association.
Is the petition useless then? Not exactly. Indeed, it seems that the media coverage all over the world flattered them, but at least let's try to open the heads of these fools! "It seems like one of those cases in which cruelty depends above all on the lack of knowledge and then on the logic of profit".

In short, close this phantom aquarium for now is not talked about. This is why the animal rights association has asked the owners at least to guarantee the animals better conditions. And the answer was that "Japanese experts" will re-launch the attractions to find better conditions for the animals.
