Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

A very sweet video that has been around the world that of the blogger Christy Keane showing the deaf daughter, hearing for the first time, the voice of her mother. A beautiful image that touches the heart.

Charlotte is just two months old and the second child of Christy Keane, a blogger who has long been giving advice on motherhood and childhood and who keeps her readers up to date on her life as a mother.

So, when little Charly was born, she confided on the web telling that her little girl was born suffering from a severe form of deafness and that neither she nor her husband knew how to handle this situation.

For once, it was the blogger's readers who encouraged and supported her in such a delicate and difficult time for a parent. Christy and her husband became aware of the child's disorder because she did not respond to sounds and did not show interest in words, as is normal.

Well it appears this little sweetheart has stolen hearts and attracted some new followers around here with her viral video so I figured I would introduce our #darlingcharly and give a little background on her hearing loss. Charlotte was born completely deaf (bilateral profound congenital hearing loss). We don’t know why or have any answers beyond that at this time. Neither my husband nor myself have a history of hearing loss in our families and nothing really prepared us for this news (shocking news, but not at all sad news). This sweet baby is beautiful and healthy and so capable of achieving everything she wants in life and we will make sure that happens! She got her hearing aids last week and we were prepared for ZERO response- so imagine our surprise and delight when she gave us such heartfelt emotion. She is amazing! We are exploring American Sign Language and plan to pursue cochlear implants when she is old enough! We are so lucky to have such an amazing support system who will make this girl feel nothing less than loved, worthy, and completely normal! #hearingloss #deaf #hearingaids #asl #cochlearimplants #charlyshearingjourney

The diagnosis later confirmed that the baby was born deaf and doctors are skeptical that she will one day regain her hearing. Although torn by pain, the blogger did not lose heart because today fortunately, the technology has created hearing aids that are also suitable for newborns.

UPDATE ON CHARLOTTE- We get to witness a miracle every morning! This is me putting in her hearing aids (you can hear the chime when they turn on) and she gets a beaming smile whenever she hears my voice! She’s thriving with her @phonak hearing aids! #charlyshearingjourney #darlingcharly #deaf #deafkidsrock #hearingaids #asl #cochlearimplants

And when Christy finally placed them on her daughter's ears, she was amazed at the reaction of the little girl who for the first time heard her mother's voice.

"I was convinced that he would not hear anything, so what happened is more incredible than I can describe in words," she wrote on her Instagram profile.

In the video that has been around the world, Christy talks to Charlotte showing all the love that only a parent can give.

From the bottom of my heart- thank you all so much for the heartfelt responses to our video of Charlotte hearing for the first time. All the pain I felt knowing she hadn’t heard me tell her “I love you” the last few months instantly went away in that moment. With all of the craziness going on in the world, we love that Charly has been able to warm hearts everywhere. We just adore her sweet little soul and I love being her mama! #charlyshearingjourney #darlingcharly #phonak #cochlear #deaf
