The owner dies a few hours later from too much pain. This dog teaches us unconditional love

The story of a woman and a dog, of the indissoluble love of Fofò, the dog who dies a few hours after his owner.

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Marianna never separated from her dog. And they both die on the same day as you

Fofò, a splendid 12-year-old Maremma, follows his mistress, Marianna, a lady of just over 70 who has flown to heaven. A matter of a few hours, just enough time for Fofò to understand that his owner is no longer there and to let himself die.

A story of a woman and a dog, of a indissoluble love that binds two beings and that absoluteness proper only to the affection of a four-legged friend.

Marianna Chessa was a 70-year-old woman from Città di Castello, in the province of Perugia, but of Sardinian origins, who had adopted that big white shepherd 10 years ago. The two were always together, her dog her shadow.

"It is likely that that morning the dog, not having heard and seen his mistress, died of pain - said the priest during the funeral. God created these friends of man to help them on the journey of life ”.

When the woman died, Fofò moved away and shortly after they found him lifeless in the square in front of the house, not far from the church.

"At the age of 70, the mother embarked on another incredible journey towards infinity - wrote her son Andrea in a message on behalf of the family - and even higher than the jump she made a year ago with the parachute together with his nephew: holding the medallion of his eldest son, who has also risen to heaven for the past 23 years. To keep him company for the long journey is Fofò, the old Maremma shepherd at rest from the fatigue of his mother's flock of sheep so much loved. Sure not to hear his voice anymore, he too let himself go on the same day and now they are together. Have a good trip Marianna, have a good trip Fofò ”.

A beautiful love story that reminds us once again how much the animals we keep at home are part of us and of our daily life.

They feel, live, suffer, love together with us and it is our duty to reciprocate them.
