    His work revolves around melancholy urban scenes which represent the less glamorous side of social life. At first glance, no one can notice that behind these indigo paintings are well-aligned layers of jeans.

    “I chose to give new life to jeans destined for landfill because denim is an integral part of urban life, what better way to capture everyday life”, he writes on his website.

    But of course it is not only the use of jeans that makes his works special, but his way of seeing the world, with its symbols, its contradictions. Each piece of jeans is worked by hand.
