A collective work of art in a run-down public space, made with recycled materials to create awareness about pollution. He made it, recycling thousands of plastic caps, the Yarará collective, a group engaged in cultural activities and creative arts from Godoy Cruz, an Argentine city in the province of Mendoza.

It all begins with Víctor, Noelia and Guido, the pioneers of the Collective, who started a brainstorming with representative images. What was the result? Images of a "feathered snake", which in Hispanic culture symbolizes the transformation and union of heaven and earth, and of a person in meditation, as a symbol of reflection on environmental pollution.

Thus was born the murals di 14 x 2,50 metri, which uses the indirect mosaic technique using cement, glue, colored stucco, sand and, of course, colored caps. Many caps: about 30 thousand, according to estimates. About 40 people collaborated to make it happen, including children and adults, who were invited through social media and word of mouth. Many joined the work directly on site, along the area's cycle path.

The objectives were achieved with a view to re-evaluating the practice of teaching, participation and collaboration. Just so, explains the collective, it was possible to really capture the message of care and respect for the environment and nature.
