The artist Marco Rea and the students of Guido Alessi worked together on a work that speaks of sustainability: a mural in the courtyard of the Roman school.
In the Flaminio district, the Istituto Comprensivo Via Micheli, to which the Guido Alessi school belongs, has joined the possibility of dressing up its spaces with the work of the artist Marco Rea, thus seizing the opportunity to train its students at art, civic education and teamwork, while promoting environmental issues.
The 2030 Agenda is the pivot around which the children's imagination and the attention of Rea revolved, who imagined a large writing made with stencils: “SUSTAIN US”. The symbols that indicate the 2030 Agenda Goals revolve around this word, which arises from the environmental concept and merges with that of sociality. between school life, art and the daily life of the neighborhood.
As part of his works, Marco Rea uses spray paint, reinterpreting already existing images, which come to show a secret, dark and melancholy soul, and then transform, giving life to a series of portraits formed by tangles of lines.
