We are responsible for our happiness and how our life goes, as the wonderful legend of the blue butterfly reminds us. So what are they the mistakes that prevent us from having the life we want?
There are many mistakes that keep us from live as we really would like. It is not just about past mistakes but above all about our behavior in the present. At first reading, you might get the impression that these errors do not concern you.
However, you should try to look deeper into your life with great honesty to understand the reasons for your behavior and what exactly is hindering you and taking you away from the life you want.

Leave everything to chance
Some people are convinced that their life is guided by luck and bad luck. In reality, nothing happens by chance. What we live has been created largely by us and by the people around us, it depends for example on the environment in which we were born or on our family but not by chance or 'blind luck'. To make sure that what we really want happens in our life we have to work hard.
Be afraid of change
Maybe your life is staying as it is because you are very afraid of change and because you have started to think that good things should happen without you making any effort. When you face difficulties you already know that this moment could lead to a change in your life. So try to live with courage and ad have faith in yourself to no longer be afraid of turning points.

Believing that you don't deserve happiness
Happiness and a better life will never come if you continue to believe you don't deserve them. Do you think that happiness is not your right? It is not so. Achieving lasting happiness is the highest goal for the human being. We all want happiness and each of us can achieve an improvement in his life, if he really wants it.

Underestimate your own abilities
Try never to underestimate your abilities, skills and talents with which you are gifted. Celebrate your successes and continue to strive to continually improve in areas that are of interest to you. You will see that your self-esteem will increase and that you will be able to achieve your goals.

Hope that everything happens by itself
Nothing happens and nothing changes if we are not the first to set the change in motion. Begin to act in the first person to get what you want. If you want to get to know someone better, ask them out. If you want to have a nice trip, start saving. If you want to change jobs, engage in research and so on.

Wait until you have enough money
Believing that you need a large amount of money to improve your life is probably just an illusion. Not having an overflowing bank account might just be an excuse to avoid starting something new. You may not be able to start a millionaire company, but you can improve your life in other ways at no cost, starting from relationships with others and from the relationship with yourself.

Seek the approval of others
Is seeking and gaining approval from others really important in our life? Everyone should continue on their own path without expecting someone to tell them that they are doing the right thing. The opinion that other people have of us and our life can change from one moment to the next and it must not affect us in any way. We are the ones who are truly responsible for what happens to us for better or for worse.
