The man who created the first and only animal shelter in Gaza: welcomes and treats dogs and cats that nobody wants

In Gaza, an exceptional man has founded a shelter for stray dogs and cats that he saves from the streets of the city. It is the only facility in Gaza that is dedicated to abandoned animals which, being in many cases paralyzed or seriously ill, require a lot of care

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

In Gaza there is a man who has decided to take care of hundreds of stray animals that populate the streets of the city and which no one had ever dealt with, so much so that, before his refuge, in Gaza there was no center or kennel / cattery used for the recovery and care of abandoned animals.

His name is Saeed al-Err and in the city of Gaza he founded the Sulala Animal Rescue, a non-profit association that, with its own efforts and the support of donations, takes care of abandoned animals in the country and hosts them in its refuge, providing for everything. Many of the rescued dogs were terribly malnourished, others paralyzed, but Saeed doesn't care as his target is take care of every living thing that needs help, offering them a second chance.

In his shelter there are currently over 350 wagging tails and, in a special area, about 40 cats. But that's not all because in addition to looking after the guests of the structure, Saeed al-Err and the volunteers who support him every day feed many other strays throughout Gaza, turning to shops, restaurants and weddings and asking them for leftover food to be able to feed the animals.

The team is also very active in schools, where it organizes educational meetings for teach children to respect and love animals. Thanks to outdoor activities and social sharing, many of the animals at Sulala Animal Rescue have found a family and now live happily in the arms of their owners. Even in the process of adoption Saeed is very scrupulous, always remaining in contact with his adopters to be sure that the animals are well in their new homes.

Many of the dogs Saeed al-Err rescues are paralyzed and in need of carrelli ambulatory to be able to move more comfortably. For this reason, the shelter also recovers old toys for children or bicycles in order to create the trolleys that some animals need. And so colored wheels are transformed into new opportunities for running and walking.

All the team is completely dedicated to the well-being of their guests, despite the enormous difficulties and expenses that face them. In fact, the structure was created from scratch with what was available, but what does it matter if the aim is to protect the animals and offer them a safe meal.

This involves being at your side day and night to take care of the most serious cases and being close to them even when it is time to ask for their eyes forever.

Seeing an animal die is the most difficult part, but you have to be present at that moment to accompany the animal peacefully on its journey, instead of leaving it alone and scared "

Saeed al-Err explained. While you can never be ready for that moment and the pain you feel, the joy of having saved so many lives drives Saeed to carry on his mission.
