maliyah e Madeline they embrace in front of a boundless panorama e they move the web. We are a Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania, and they are two special girls united by a cruel fate: the cancer.

Yep, their photo went around the world and became viral because Maliyah Jones and Madeline DeLuca, the first of 5 and the second of 3, share the fight against a tumor that is consuming them. The girls lived in the same room at the Pittsburgh hospital for a long time and became friends. Maliyah suffers from neuroblastoma, a very aggressive brain tumor, Madeline has a acute myeloid leukemia.

Comfort, play, support. This is what the two little girls exchanged in that room and that photo, taken by Tazz Jones, Maliyah's mother, says it clearly.

"There is always someone, there is always a friend - says Tazz. Children help children in the best way because it is as natural as possible, because they don't know exactly what is happening to them ".

Tazz Jones thus shared the photo and his hopes on Facebook: "I want this photo to be seen all over the world because it tells so many things. In it are friendship, illness, mutual comfort and support. I want people to feel what I felt when I took this photo “.

Maliyah has now been transferred to New York for other types of care, while Madeline has returned home after chemotherapy. Who knows if one day the two girls will be able to meet again. Maybe adults, after a miracle, in the streets of Pittsburgh and not from a hospital room.
