As every year US News & World Report has compiled the ranking of best diets of 2022, but also determined which ones are the worst. According to experts, a diet can be considered suitable only if it is sustainable for a long period and, above all, if it is able to adapt perfectly to the needs and lifestyle of the individual person. 

The team evaluated each diet by considering seven parameters:

  • short-term weight loss
  • long-term weight loss
  • ease in following it
  • completeness of nutrients
  • health risks
  • efficacy in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases
  • efficacy in the prevention of diabetes.

  • SlimFast diet
  • intermittent fasting
  • diet Optavia
  • alkaline diet
