Following that episode, the President of the Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti had issued an order to kill the bear, which was subsequently replaced by an arrest order after the intervention of the LAV (Anti-Vivisection League). Thanks to the commitment of the animal rights association, from today the JJ4 bear will be able to remain free. The Administrative Court of Trento in fact annulled the order as it does not believe that there is any urgency that justifies the capture of the specimen.

"The Province of Trento stop here its persecution of the bear, for you it will be a nice awakening from hibernation" now asks LAV.
