While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict shows no signs of stopping, in Jerusalem the Israeli nurse, Ula Ostrowski-Zak, has a gesture of peace and love among the most beautiful breastfeeding the baby of a Palestinian patient in a coma. Her photo is going around the world.

During his shift at the Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem, Nurse Hula, a 34-year-old mother, found herself faced with a somewhat particular situation: a nine-month-old Palestinian child, Yamen Abu Ramila, was in the facility together with his mother hospitalized in serious condition following a car accident, he had not eaten for several hours and there was no one who could give him milk (the little one refused the bottle). She then thought of solving the problem herself breastfeeding him for several times during the night, thus feeding that little child who today has become a symbol of peace and hope for the future.

Yes, why Ula is Israeli while the baby is Palestinian, a completely unknown child and of the "adverse" part of the woman but precisely a child who has no fault of what happens in the world. The aunts of the little boy rushed to the hospital to take care of him could not believe their eyes:

“My aunt told me that Yaman has always been breastfed only from his mother since birth. He never drank from the bottle. They asked if anyone could breastfeed him and I told her I could. They were surprised. They could not believe that a Jewish mother could agree to breastfeed a Palestinian baby. They carried me in their arms, they kissed me, they never stopped hugging me ”Ula said.

The young nurse didn't have any problems and, like a real mother, she showed herself generous towards the little one in need of milk. And she didn't just limit herself to this: Ula, via the Leche League, she went in search of local women willing to be nannies to the little one. So his nice gesture was also followed by other women who will breastfeed the baby until his mother is better.

One of the moments in which Ula is breastfeeding the baby was immortalized with some photo which obviously they are going around the world for their infinite sweetness, considering, among other things, the whole affair (the child's father unfortunately died in the road accident).

Let's also take a cue to understand how a generous and useful gesture can spread without too much effort if someone throws the "seed" and when there is a noble purpose behind it.
