Our body needs sugars and starches from which to derive energy and to function properly but the risk with an unbalanced diet is to introduce a really excessive amount of refined sugar into our body.
To understand how much added sugar is really present in soft drinks and packaged products, a project was born that puts these quantities immediately under our eyes.
In children the excessive consumption of refined sugar through fizzy drinks and snacks it could cause mood swings, aggressive behaviors and sleep disturbances.

Sin Azucar is a photographic project that aims to visualize the sugar content present in soft drinks and packaged products.
According to the WHO, we shouldn't exceed the limit of 50 grams of sugar per day.

This is not the first project of this type that deals with showing the sugar content of some packaged foods and drinks but in this case the presence of the number of corresponding sugar cubes that we learn by looking at the images should really make us think.
Neither adults nor children need to consume sodas, snacks, sweets and other packaged products that are high in refined sugar. You can sometimes make an exception to the rule - after all it can happen - but always with criteria, so as not to overdo the consumption of sugar, don't you think?
