The new hi-tech bikini is called Spinal Design and is based on a really simple idea, that is to send a warning message to our smartphone when the time comes apply sunscreen again.
This happens thanks to a UV solar sensor which the bikini is equipped with and which is connected to the wearer's smartphone. The message we will receive will also give us advice on the type of sunscreen to apply.
The trick is to set up the tech bikini app indicating your skin type before starting with sun exposure. You can choose three types of skin: light, normal and dark, but the range of options could expand soon, according to the anticipations of its creators.
In France, the technological bikini to prevent sunburn is already available for sale and is customizable and made on miusra. Furthermore, its creators are very keen on the traceability of the product, the fabrics used and direct contact with the tailors to propose better and better ideas and models suited to the needs of customers.
The novelty is certainly not cheap, because the price of the smart bikini is 149 euros. We take into account that it is both a technological and a tailor-made product. It remains to be understood whether the novelty will be appreciated starting from its homeland, if it will spread and whether it will truly deliver on its promise to help prevent sunburn.
