The German Shepherds of Biden ready for the inauguration ceremony. For the first time, a dog adopted from the kennel enters the White House

One of Biden's German Shepherds was adopted by a shelter that organizes a virtual ceremony, "indoguration", for charity.

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

From the kennel to the White House in a simple and very joyful bau! With Major and Champ the elected president Joe Biden is ready to finally restore a bipartisan habit when moving to the White House: to be accompanied by presidential dogs!

The Bidens have two German Shepherds, one of whom was adopted right from a refuge and for which a lot of virtual ceremony was organized, a "indoguration”As the American tabloids say, on Zoom on January 17, three days before Biden's official inauguration. Major is the first four-legged friend from a kennel to enter the White House. Biden and his wife adopted the big dog in 2018. The niece of the new US president posted a tender shot of Joe Biden in the company of Major on Twitter:

And indeed it takes a real party, given that Trump was (also) the first president to not have a pet in the White House in more than 100 years. About this Biden joked about it just before election day, with a resounding: "Let's readmit the dogs to the White House":

To organize the "settlement" event of the First Dogs and the Delaware Humane Association, the association that runs the shelter in Wilmington from which Joe Biden took the German shepherd, Major, then in very poor health, two years ago.

“The World's Largest Virtual Dog Party,” as the organizers called it, will be hosted on NBC's Today program hosted by Jill Martin.

Proceeds will all go to the Delaware Humane Association.

And now some breaking news on #SundayMorning…

President-elect @JoeBiden and his wife @DrBiden won’t just be bringing their German shepherds, Major and Champ to the White House. The Bidens tell us exclusively that soon they’ll be joined by a cat. #sundaypets pic.twitter.com/KCkNV6jNpH

Curiosity: the two First Dogs already have their own Twitter page, with more than 6 thousand followers. If this is not a success?

From HERE it is possible to take part in the ceremony of indoguration and raise money to help more animals in the shelter.
