    The diagnosis of the disease came after he contracted a parasite. The latter was defeated by special treatment but bringing him home, the owners noticed that he was not growing as a German shepherd should have done. The vet found out that he was suffering from pituitary dwarfism, to which German Shepherds are predisposed.

    Due to the illness, Ranger had several problems with his fur falling out and his skin becoming terribly dry, but luckily the owners, along with a group of online fans, were able to get the treatment he needed, thanks. to which he returned to health.

    Meanwhile Ranger has also become famous, with a following of avid fans cheering for him on Instagram. Thanks to the social networks, the owners have come into contact with various users who have warned them about the risks due to the disease, and supported them in various ways.

    Guardians Farm, for example, a small handmade soap company, sent Ranger goat milk soaps to heal his skin, helping him tremendously. Another follower encouraged them to check the dog's thyroid levels as many dwarfs suffer from hypothyroidism. In short, a real wave of love and solidarity.
