The post was uploaded by the user Joyce Gilos Torrefranca: it is a child who is studying on a street in Cebu, in the Philippines, because he does not have access to electricity in his home. "I was inspired by a child," she wrote on the social on June 23.
“As a student, she is an inspiration to do more. I was lucky enough to have parents who were able to send me to school. I go to study in cafes, but this guy hit me. You don't need much, just be determined and focused on the things you want to accomplish. I hope this baby inspires millions of people, ”explains the author.
According to local media, the boy is called Daniel and his mother often begs outside a local McDonald's.

Daniel is not the only one having to fight against poverty and hardship: World Bank data collected in 2010 shows that only 83% of Filipinos has access to electricity. In 2009, only 88% of children had access to primary education in the Asian country.
Yet one would be enough solar powered lamp to get out of energy poverty.
