    Children who find themselves in a difficult situation do not have to give up celebrating Halloween like everyone else, complete with a disguise. Here then are many ideas to create gods Halloween costumes special to make the happiness of children in a wheelchair.





    Ryan Weimer is the father of Keaton, a child who has been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when he was very young. Dad decided to create a fantastic Halloween costume just for him that turned his wheelchair into a pirate ship.

    After this first creation, Ryan decided to create many more Halloween costumes for the kids children with special needs and the result is the birth of the non-profit association Magic Wheelchair, which makes Halloween costumes for children in wheelchairs.

    This very special dad has proven himself to be very skilled in creating disguises and now many parents are turning to him or taking inspiration from his costumes to do the same.

    In 2015 Ryan and his wife launched one crowdfunding campaign successful on Kickstarter which allowed the creation of 5 Halloween costumes for as many children in wheelchairs.

    Ryan and his family enlist the help of talented volunteers, including art school students, to provide children with the best disguises and to ensure maximum enjoyment. In the meantime, the project contributes to spreading greater awareness on the problem of muscular dystrophy and on how to help children who suffer from it.
