His mandalas are born in natural places, such as parks and gardens, based above all on the materials that are available at that time. The protagonists of the composition of the mandalas can be flowers, fresh or dry leaves, but also twigs, pine cones, small fruits and pebbles.
In this way the mandalas are enriched with new shapes, colors and materials with which to create a real one in a small space natural universe. After all, in India mandalas are a symbol of the cosmos, as well as of our inner world.
Each of us can create natural mandalas starting from the same materials chosen by the artist and then photographing them to have images available as a souvenir. With the images of the mandalas Ana Castilho creates videos and photo galleries on Facebook where everyone can admire her works.
The mandalas created by the artist can have the classic round shape, or follow the profile of a heart. In the center of the mandala we can find a particular stone or a colored flower. From the center then all the other elements are arranged symmetrically.
