Keepers at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park in Duncan, South Australia have revealed their trick to making a koala baby sit still while being weighed. The tender photo shows a baby koala on a special scale designed specifically to provide peace of mind to the small marsupial mammal. In fact, instead of placing it on a surface, they add a sprig so that it can hang as if it were on a tree. Using this method, they manage to weigh it and take its measurements without the little koala moving, but above all without making it feel uncomfortable.
