That day, Braden Baker still hadn't had time to put on his hearing aid, which he had found in his big dog's mouth.
Three thousand dollars the price to pay to change it as it was not covered by insurance. Just then, the little boy thought of all those children like him, who maybe couldn't afford to spend such a high amount.
“I had to do something for all those who for economic reasons were unable to hear. I was lucky, but everyone else? ”Says Braden Baker.
In spite of his young age, with the help of his parents Braden decided to launch a fundraising campaign to finance the purchase of a hearing aid for a less fortunate child.
But he managed to do much more by becoming the hero of the GoFundMe platform for the month of August. Thanks to the support of Oticon Hearing Foundation, who contacted Branden after learning of her selfless deed, were picked up 15mila U.S. dollars which will be used to restore hearing to five children.
Braden and his mother's 'work' does not end there. As he explains in this video, his dream is to travel around the world to bring hearing aids to the poorest people.
