It is always a good idea leave containers filled with water near the vases so that the water, evaporating, will create a humid environment.
Also if you leave the your plants at home remember to do not leave them in the dark, while if they are outside move them to a less sunny position as possible and put them all together nicely so that they thus form a humid microclimate.
If you think of missing for more than a week you can give them the water they need using a large bottle (or a container) one for each plant, placing it near each of its pots at a height greater than that of the pot itself: in practice, fill the bottle with water and place some strips of cloth (from 3 to 10) already wet with a head immersed in the bottle the other end in the earth of the vase, well buried for a few centimeters, in this way the water it will pass from the bottle to the earth with ease.

If there are many plants, you can use the same method that works in the same way, but with a different shape, that is bring water from the bottom of the pot (as if it were water that arrives thanks to a saucer). Basically a small cloth spread on a flat surface with one part immersed in a basin full of water which is at a lower level than where the plants are, the water will then rise by capillarity in the soil and thus water the plants.

Another very simple method is that of uuse a half-liter bottle, just make a few holes on the plastic cap and on the base of the bottle itself to allow the water to flow out. Now just fill the water bottle closed with the cap then just plant it with the neck in the ground and the liquid will be released slowly.
Another really useful method is theuse of the timer with drip system, certainly very efficient, but not exactly without expenses, finally the good old neighborhood remains ... go to your neighbor and ask for the favor of watering the plants in your absence, but remember to reciprocate and come back with a small gift to reward him for the favor!
