The Gran Teatre del Liceu reopens its doors after the pandemic, but it does so for an unusual audience: 2292 plants

A symbolic gesture to invoke a change of paradigm and reaffirm a return to nature after such a painful and particular period.
The concert "para il bioceno" by the artist Eugenio Ampudia and the QuartettoUceLi string quartet represented the prelude to the 2020-2021 season. The notes of Giacomo Puccini's “Crisantemi” were sung in front of the green public in a wonderful performance that “human” listeners could virtually benefit from through live streaming.

The 2292 plants will now be delivered to as many doctors and health workers, in particular from the Clinic Hospital of Barcelona, as a thank you for their commitment in recent months, accompanied by a certificate from the artist:

The images and the video of the performance of the “biocene concert” will now be part of the contemporary art collection of “la Caixa”.
