He creates them Rose de Jong, a Dutch artist living in Amsterdam who loves miniature objects. To create the little fantastic worlds you use various materials including the gifts of nature that you collect in the park or in the garden, among twigs and pebbles or simply sand.
The artist uses glass test tubes to bring his creations to life. The test tubes become the containers of small fantastic worlds that enclose houses, trees, towers, landscapes and more. His creations are part of the Micro Matter project.
Rosa de Jong is planning to open an online shop to sell the miniature landscapes made in the glass test tubes as the project is having great success and receiving numerous requests.

Inside the glass test tubes, objects and landscapes seem to float effortlessly in the air. The overall effect is truly extraordinary even if we simply observe them in photography. Each small natural fragment that the artist collects becomes a source of inspiration for new worlds in the test tube and Rosa plans to make many more.

Perhaps in the future we may require the making of a test tube with a personalized miniature world. For the moment we can admire all the micro worlds in the test tube on Instagram.
