Every day he sits in the entrance stairs of the hospital in Oderzo and waits. It's been a few months now, and yet there cat Tenny, still hopes to be able to see his beloved owner who has entered that structure again.
She was renamed Tenny due to her tenacity. For the hospital employees she has now become a constant presence: the nice gray cat probably belongs to a hospitalized patient or more likely a deceased patient that she continues to look for with her eyes.
The cat stands there motionless and does not seem to have no relief even from the cuddles and attention that are reserved for her. Tenny since this winter, she every day she is out the door of theOderzo hospital looking in the crowd for the face of its owner. An endless wait that has resisted even the cold, rain and snow. There are those who gave her a kennel, those who feed her daily, those who took her to a veterinarian to have her checked.
An adoption attempt had even been made, a family had declared themselves ready to welcome her, but after just a couple of days in the new home, Tenny ran away to return to the hospital concierge.
Its history is reminiscent of that of Hachiko, the most loyal dog in the world who has waited sitting at the station for the return of its unfortunately deceased owner, but also that of Hachi, who has been waiting for his human for five years right in the corner where the latter died in a car accident.
Stories that touch the heart and show how extraordinary our animal friends are and in this case the cats that are often pointed to as selfish and independent felines.
