Microsoft has released its annual sustainability report which has become an interactive Minecraft map
Microsoft published its annual sustainability report and so Mojang, the developer of Minecraft, transformed the report into an interactive map called "Sustainable City".
Sustainable City contains six interactive and fun lessons designed to bring users closer to sustainability issues and entice them to take care of the environment. Topics covered include sustainable food production, water runoff and treatment, waste recycling, forest protection, sustainable construction, alternative energy and responsible forestry.
A real example of Edutainment that allows the player to learn by moving in an immersive environment: the user can explore a house built with sustainable materials or find out how non-recyclable waste is disposed of.
The map is available as a free download in the Minecraft marketplace.
