Sugar-free watermelon popsicles: the yummy summer recipe that will refresh you

The recipe for watermelon popsicles: just 3 ingredients are enough to prepare a delicious, refreshing and healthy snack


Fresh, sweet and juicy: watermelon is the queen of summer. And it's perfect for cooling off on a hot day. In addition to being delicious, this fruit is packed with beneficial nutritional properties. It contributes to our hydration, stimulates diuresis and is ideal for replenishing energy. Thanks to its consistency and high levels of water, watermelon is an ingredient that lends itself to the creation of exquisite popsicles with a bright color that will conquer both adults and children.

Let's find out how to prepare them at home without using sugar for a light, delicious and nutritious snack!

Ingredients (for 6 popsicles)

-200 grams of ripe watermelon pulp (without seeds)

-3 tablespoons of water 

- juice of one lemon 

-20 grams of agave syrup (optional)


First peel the watermelon, cutting the pulp into cubes and removing the seeds. Transfer the cut watermelon to a bowl and add the 3 tablespoons of water and lemon juice (preferably organic). If you prefer or if the watermelon is not very ripe, you can also use about 20 grams of agave syrup, instead of sugar, to make the popsicles sweeter. Use an immersion blender to blend everything and pour the mixture into the popsicle mold and insert the wooden sticks. Place your popsicles in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Before tasting them, we advise you to pass the mold under tap water for a few seconds in order to take them out more easily.
