Ingredients

  • 1 kg of raspberries
  • 2 mele bio
  • 1 lemon bio
  • half a glass of water

Preparation

Gently wash the raspberries and transfer them to a bowl. Cut the apples into small pieces and add them to the raspberries, leaving everything to macerate for about 4 hours. Apples will serve as a substitute for sugar. This fruit, in fact, releases its natural pectin, making the jam sweeter.

Now pour the blackberries and chopped apples into a saucepan, adding half a glass of water. Start stirring and turn on the heat, leaving it on a low flame. Stir constantly, bringing to a boil, for about half an hour. Don't forget to remove the foam that forms on the surface with a skimmer. When the mixture appears soft enough, turn off the heat, let it cool for a few minutes and blend with an immersion blender. Complete the cooking by leaving the pot on the stove for another 10 minutes.

Now all that remains is to transfer the still hot jam into sterilized glass jars. Close them tightly and place them upside down on the table, leaving them in that position until they have cooled completely and the vacuum is formed.

You can keep your delicious raspberry jam for about 6 months in the pantry or in a cool and dry place. But once the jar is opened, it must be consumed within 3/4 days.
