Strawberries are one of the most loved and consumed fruits of the summer season, due to both their goodness and their versatility, which makes them suitable for the preparation of fruit salads, smoothies, ice cream and puddings, but also of savory dishes such as risotto. Given their particular characteristic of absorbing and retaining pesticides, it is advisable to choose strawberries of organic or at least safe origin. Even more fortunate are those who find space and time to be able to grow them in pots or in their own garden.
