Christmas Eve is approaching and, as tradition dictates, we must be ready to prepare a snack for Santa Claus and his reindeer, a magical moment for all the children who are waiting to receive gifts on that special night.
Not only do we parents love to have midnight snacks, Santa and his reindeer also seem to enjoy a little snack as they work hard to bring gifts to children around the world. This is why tradition has it that you leave something to eat and drink that can refresh them on Christmas Eve.
But how to best prepare this special snack with the children? What does Santa really appreciate and what to leave to the reindeer instead?
What to prepare for Santa and the reindeer
Santa Claus will have to stay awake and "work" all night in the cold, so he will certainly need something warm but also tasty and light to be able to continue his tour around the houses.
Nothing better then than a nice glass of warm milk or vegetable drink (probably also Santa Claus in the meantime will have approached environmental issues) and some biscuits.
The top would be prepare them at home with the children, excellent for example the gingerbread men but any other recipe is fine, we suggest some in the following articles:

If you don't have cookies, Santa Claus will certainly like a slice of pandoro or panettone and instead of milk you can opt for a nice hot chocolate.
You can arrange Santa's snack next to your tree on a tray or directly on a table, taking care to put a placemat underneath.
You absolutely must not forget reindeer snack, after all, it is they who make the greatest effort carrying the sled with the gifts. Then leave somewater and a few carrots or tangerines, if they really deserve it.

In the morning, obviously, of these things only the remnants will have to remain. Santa Claus has passed by and enjoyed his snack, sometimes it happens that he also leaves a thank you note or traces of his passage, such as a little earth or a window that has been slightly open.
Finding out that Santa likes what they have prepared for him is sure to fill the kids with joy. The rest will find gifts under the tree!
